I am working on my PhD at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Rhetoric (now the Department of Writing Studies). My PhD will be in Scientific and Technical Communication wtih a focus on distance education, educational technologies, curriculum, and pedagogy.
My Masters was also at the University of Minnesota in Rhetoric, Scientific and Technical Communication, with a focus on Knowledge Management and Systems Thinking. My BA was at Metropolitan State University in Information Systems.
I currently work full time at the University of Minnesota with learning technologies, adult pedagogy, faculty developmet, and IT project management / business analysis (how's that for a combination?)
From time to time I also teach for the Department of Writing Studies, in the past I taught various levels of public speaking; more recently I have taught technical writing.
